PPAP review services, customer side or supplier side.

A second set of expert eyes on every PPAP. We review all PPAP element requirements, document each finding with evidence and rationale, and can manage it through to customer approval. You or your supplier retains PSW signing authority.

Every element, read the way an approver reads it.

Recent work includes PPAP submission and launch support on heavy-truck OEM programs in Virginia and North Carolina, with on-site reviews in Ontario and India.

What you get

Findings report

Element by element, each finding with the evidence and the requirement it misses.

Corrective action log

Owner, due date and status for every finding, ready for your supplier to work from.

Review call

We walk your team or your supplier through the findings so nothing is lost in translation.

Resubmission check

Fixes verified against evidence, not promises, before the package goes to your customer.

Remote first. On site when it counts.

Most PPAP work lives in the documents, so most of ours happens remotely. You send the package, we review it, and we work the findings with your team or your supplier on calls. That keeps travel costs off your invoice. When the risk is on the shop floor, we verify in person.

Remote review

PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, control plan, MSA and capability data reviewed from the package, with every finding tracked to closure.

Live verification

Witnessed measurements and process walk-throughs by video call, backed by timestamped photo and data evidence.

On site when it matters

Safety and pass-through characteristics, data that does not add up, or run-at-rate and launch sign-offs your customer will not accept remotely. Ontario, the US, India, China and across ASEAN.

Gaps we find again and again

  • PFMEA severity capped below the safety rating
  • Special characteristics with no capability study
  • No MSA for the gauge that actually measures the feature
  • Pass-through characteristics with weak or missing detection
  • IMDS not submitted, or rejected
  • PSW details that do not match the package
  • Sub-tier certificates expired or missing
  • Customer-specific requirements not flowed down

Questions

Do you sign the PSW?

No. You or your supplier retains PSW signing authority. We prepare and review the package and manage it through customer PPAP approval.

Remote or on site?

Most reviews start remotely from the package. When the gaps are on the shop floor, we go on site: Ontario, the US, India, China and across ASEAN.

Which PPAP requirements do you review to?

The AIAG PPAP manual, the IATF 16949 product approval requirements (clause 8.3.4.4) and your customer-specific requirements, at whatever submission level your customer asks for. We also check the package against the related IATF 16949 expectations, such as control plans, MSA and process capability.

How long does a review take?

It depends on the size of the package. We confirm a date when we quote.

How do you price a review?

First-run reviews and managed packages are quoted as a fixed price based on the size of the package. Remote follow-up is billed hourly. On-site days are a day rate plus government per diem, with travel at cost. Quote on request.
